Descrizione
A lone navigator slips silently along the coasts of Corfu and the small archipelago of the Diapontia using an anachronistic, slow, tiring and invisible means of transport: the kayak. The man looks, describes, ironizes, saddens and exults on the daily flow of island sights made up of sandy beaches, rocky and inaccessible shores, villages and cities that still bear the marks of past dominations, places irretrievably lost behind the development of unsustainable tourism.
The kayak is the means of transport chosen for a total harmony of purpose: the man does now want to attract attention, he does not want to make noise, he just wants to navigate in the simplest possible way, remembering only occasionally to refuel his “human engine”.
