This high-end microphone features a large-diameter, unidirectional microphone element that excels in capturing frontal sounds while effectively suppressing surrounding noise. It includes a long-stroke, non-contact PTT (Push-To-Talk) key with a non-slip honeycomb surface for enhanced grip and usability. The microphone also features a built-in PTT lock and an active low-frequency cut filter, which can be switched on or off, with a cutoff frequency of 340Hz at -6dB/octave. Designed for versatility, it comes with a large, stable base stand and is compatible with transceivers that have either an 8-pin round or an 8-pin modular microphone connector. The package includes an 8-pin round to 8-pin modular curly cord microphone cable, making it a suitable successor to the MD-100A8X stand microphone.
